About the app
Bobo's White Noise Machine, developed by Whiskey Driven Development, plays white, pink and brown noise from audio files bundled on your device. Playback does not require streaming or an internet connection.
Information the app accesses and shares
The app does not record audio, create user accounts, or send personal information to the developer. We do not integrate advertising, analytics or tracking services. The app does not request access to your microphone, contacts, photos or location.
Android provides media playback, notifications, audio-focus and output-route handling. These features support playback and interruptions; they do not send listening activity to the developer.
Local state, retention and deletion
Your chosen sound and custom timer are held for the current playback session. Android may save screen state locally to restore the screen after recreation. The app does not upload this state or enable Android app-data backup.
If you choose a light or dark appearance override, that preference is saved locally on your device. Use device theme removes the override. The preference otherwise remains until you clear app data or uninstall the app; it is not sent to the developer.
There is no developer-side account or personal-data database to retain or delete. Local app data can be removed through Android's app settings or by uninstalling the app. Playback-session state ends when its service ends.
External destinations
If you choose to open an external destination, Android opens a separate app or browser. External websites operate under their own privacy and payment policies. Bobo's does not process or receive your payment details. A voluntary Buy Me a Coffee link is currently limited to development/debug builds and grants no app features or rewards.
This website
This static policy page adds no analytics, advertising scripts, forms or embedded payment content. GitHub Pages is the hosting provider. Hosting providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the page. See the GitHub privacy statement. This website hosting is separate from the app's offline playback.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy and its date if the app's data practices change. New features that access or share information will require appropriate disclosures and, where required, consent before that information is used.
